All terrain stairs

Our client approached us with a challenge: their stunning lakefront property had no safe or practical way to reach the water. The shoreline was steep, uneven, and completely inaccessible — but they were determined to enjoy their waterfront, and we were determined to make it possible.

Earlier this summer, we designed and built this custom all-terrain stair system on Berlin Lake, turning an unusable hillside into a fully accessible path to the water. While others said it couldn’t be done, we made it happen.

This project features:

• Heavy-duty steel piles driven deep into the hillside using our specialized pile-driving equipment
• A robust structural frame built for long-term durability
• Hand-crafted construction, assembled piece by piece
• Treated lumber treads paired with heavy-duty steel handrails for strength, safety, and longevity

The result? A stunning, functional staircase that not only enhances the property, but finally gives the homeowner the waterfront access they’ve always wanted.
